Apprenticeships
The types of apprenticeships we recruit for vary from year to year, but they can be for Administrators, or for trades - such as Plumbers and Electricians.
We don't ask for any formal qualifications. We do our own shortlisting tests - covering basic English, maths, initiative and logic. This is because college work is involved and we need our apprentices to be at least at GCSE level C standard to do this.
As we work in partnership with Nottingham City Council, we support their approach to recruitment for entry level posts. “Local Jobs for Local People” helps local people gain access to training and employment opportunities in the city.
This means that, to be eligible to apply for an apprenticeship, you must live within the boundary of Nottingham City Council (unless you have a disability).
